I asked Dave "Dave-SBS" about painting the kit black so I didnt have to worry about the standard fade but he adviced against it as theres not many Phase1 kits kicking about without paint in really good nick. mine needs the skirts putting on and idealy a fresh spray-over. i was tempted to get a tungy kit for it in the summer, like the 'not-normal' one. but i liked the rarity of the grey stuff :)

Is it legal to not have side repeaters? assuming the main indicators are in the lower driving lights

It's a photoshop, so the paint doesn't have a natural reflection, which will make it look smoother. Plus, it's not really shaded.

I couldn't believe my luck when it came up as had been hunting for a minter for ages.. the fact that it was a tungy as well.... its identical to the 5s my pops and uncle had all those years ago. I've had some plates made up 'H226 KOP' and gonna do a photoshoot in the exact location where there original pics were tacken back in Aug '90.
The original 1990 GTTs came from the big Renault dealer in Digbeth (don't know if its still there, haven't been to Brum in ages) :)
