you certainly look like youve got the bug for it ,as soon as i see guys who tattoo there coupons ,its normally as theve run out of space else where :scratch:

i dont understand the fascination about tatts ok 1 or 2 on your arm or leg maybe looks cool but getting your eyelids/face and head done is not cool in my eyes .

suppose if you like it thats all that matters m8 but whats the gran kids going to think off you when your 50-60 and youve got your coupon covered in indian ink !!

oh and i do have a tatt , i got it done when i was 15 and have regretted it ever since ,infact im still trying to decide on something to get to cover it ,im 34 now

I don't have any yet but I do have one planned and drawn up. I've just gotta find the right time to do it.

I've got some friends literally covered in them and for me, I much prefer when they mean something to that person. It shouldn't matter what other people think, it's not for them.

One thing I don't like though is football crests on mens legs :sad2:

The skull on your forearm looks real nice. Im obsessed with getting a tattoo at the moment but cant decide, I run a small design firm in Glasgow and there is too much pressure from peeps around me to make a 'cool' tattoo! lol

Been watching lots of Miami Ink and LA Ink ( I fancy the fook out of Kat Von D!) to get some inspiration but nothing really that great excepts Kats shaded portraits. I only have 3 on my arm so far =[. spending money on the car atm. I think im gonna just have one sleeve done though. Ive gone for the good+evil theme like ive got a dragon and wizard on the ouside of my arm and a devil type thing on the inside and il keep it like that all way down. Il try get pics up 2night, i like your skull =]

i started gettin tattoos wen i was 17..im only 22 but from the moment i got one that was it...more and more and more.
most of them have a meaning...maybe somethin unimportant...but generally they are just to remeber somethin important in my life at some point.

wen im 60...if i get to that age ill be happy and hopefully wen i do ill stil have the marbles to remeber wen i got my tattoo and why i got it.

mike a- yeah the skull is real nice...shaded really well.my mate did it for me 2 years ago but sadly he died last year...he was covered too and loved it hahaha

ive always gone for tatoos that really mean something.

on each hands ive got the names of the villages my mum and dad came from in panjab.

on my inner right forearm ive got panjabi writing which would translate to "tiger of panjab.(shere panjab). ive got this because this is where my heart trully is.

on my outter right forearm ive got italic english shaded writing which says "romance" i got this as i love romancing

on my right upper arm ive got -
a khanda which is a sikhism symbol, below this is another sign which is called "ek um akar" and below this ive got the outline of the indian continant with the indian flag within it. around all of the above is a spikey tribal-ish design which i got as my arm got wider ove the years making the tattoos look smaller.

on my left upper arm ive got the face of an aggresive tiger. ive got this as i do my homework/(tiger stalk prey) before going on the attack. of course i have to be prevoked.

on the right side of my neck ive got a black dragon. i got this because im full of fire/anger. not literally fire lol.

on the left side of my neck ive got the word "Panjabi" in itallic english lettering. ive got this because errrm im panjabi, i had this done in engish text as i was born here.

I was thinking of a chain around my ankle, maybe a mini circle of all the 5`s in the range....:), damn my dreams are stupid...:laugh:

I remember I always wanted one when I was in my teens, then I slowly started going off them when I turned 22, now i'm another year older, I could never desicrate my skin with a tattoo. I don't care if it does mean something, i'd rather keep that something to myself than people gauping at it.

last time i was in the tattoo shop they were talking about uv ink and they said there's a massive chance of getting some form of cancer from it :crap: they won't touch the stuff.

tatts are well addictive now, i've always drawn my own up and pay by the hour which costs bucks but its so addictive :laugh:

well for a long time i wouldnt go near it but it now has approval from the fda.
it has to be made with pmma...cant mind what it stands for but its a chemical name anyway.

raj i dont think there is a register but if u google some of the studios near by they should have some ratings and comments from previous customers

portrait work is really cool...but real expensive

i think for a good good portrait u should pay anyless than 300/400 quid.
im only basing that on prices up here though as im quite involved with the tattooing thing

maybe down ur end itl be cheaper

I have a Rocky Marciano portrait on my arm, big boxing fan, especially fighters from the 40's - 60's. Please excuse my drunken friend in the photo, he was trying to suggest that i had a portait of him tattood on my arm.

Went all the way down to Barnsley to get it done. A chap called Nigel Kurt, he specialises in portraits, i think it turned out pretty well. It has 49-0 underneath which you can't see in the photo.

Mine rocks all.....Jamie and the Magic Torch.

ive got about 60 hours worth, only a few of mine have any meaning behind them, i just think they look cool.
and if the only thing im worrying about aged 60 is what my grandkids think of my tattoos then i'll be fairly happy.
dont think i'd ever go onto my face, and even tho uv ink is invisible in normal light, i'd be worried about scarring being visible. not much of a big deal considering you've got your head done already tho i guess!
and fairplay on getting your eyelids done, makes me cringe thinking about a needle going anywhere near my eye!

well iv seen the finished result of the uv tattooing
it only really scars if ur not so good with the aftercare or the tattooist is too heavy handed.

who knows...al upload some pics on wednesday after i get it done

must say, its an adiction when you have one you need and want more! well this is the case with me, i cant stop but im taking my time to think about what i want next. i dont get tats on the spare of the moment meaningless type thing.

nah im not too fussed with needles...i do piercing and stuff so its nothin really

i get tattoos for both reasons..meaningful and for the design/artistic point

A couple of older my mates had there names down there forearms, but when I talked about it to my mum about it she said she would kill me if I did!!

So I got my name on my chest where she couldnt see it until a family hol, By that time it was waaay to late! :cooter:

I dont regret it, but get questioned a lot!! which I find is a good conversation starter!

Now my brother has got the same text style and his name on his chest! seems like a tradition now! lol

I want some more tats! and being on cad is great! drafted 3 up already, as its all line work.

That'd save loads of hassle in the self-service things in supermarkets. They never read the barcode on wrappers.
