The 'What Are You Listening To At The Moment' Thread

Seeing as the site is back up and running this thread is about exactly what it says on the tin. Whats tickling your fancy at the moment? Is there a particular track you like at the moment or are you listening to something a little older?

I stumbled across this track whilst listening to a recent Sasha mix and it had me rocking...

Hudson Mohawkes (Glasgow DJ signed to Warp records) new EP came out a couple of weeks ago so havent taken that off for a while. Kinda of glitchhop type stuff.

Yeah hes good for sure. Different. He was a Uk DMC finalist at the age of 15 if his Wikipedia is anything to go by.

You should check out the album 'Butter' and his new EP 'Satin panther' if you like it. Even his old remixes are good. This one was the first I rememberer getting attention (remix of late 90s song Oops by Tweet...)

prodigy got to be my favorite, seem to be listening to black out crew alot but at the mo i have some hard hitting bass tunes in my car ( fuel cds) very low bass sounds good even on standard speakers :):)

First heard it in the other year in Lost in Translation but couldn't find it, possibly it's not in the films end titles and apparently it's not in the soundtrack.

I like'd that cymbal and bass line and the unusually immodest singing and the driving rhythm of the whole thing. It sounded quite a lot better in that film, especially the cymbal, shame the quality is so poor on youtube, etc. I imagined the singer to be some sassy Afro-american but in fact is a Jewish Canadian ex-drama teacher.

I wasn't in to hardcore as such so never really listened to Bass X. Just certain harder tunes stood out and made us happy driving round in our E plate GT Turbos paying £2000 insurance...:hump:...:D
