I dont think calling Mods gay will help. However i have noticed they remove and lock up your posts.

The mods have the right to remove any thread they feel are irrelevant to a car club, and against any club rules...
We have a general chat forum, we could just ban it and say no threads/post about anything other than Renault Turbo's... but that would just be plain gay.
Mods/Committee members are human, we do talk about funny/strange things, but that tends to be private and not on a puplic forum..
A thread was removed where a guy put a glass bottle up his ar&e and the glassed smashed... causing lots of blood and the guy having to pick out the glass... do you really want to see things ike that?
Now the post/thread that your referring to i have no idea about, but its been removed, so end off. We generally leave things going and hope the settle down but when people talk about pikey's,chav's, benefit abuser's etc its hard to leave a thread like that as people get very passionate about there feeling's.... but if you want to spout about things like that then fine but perhaps RTOC is not the place to do so.

I can only agree about Dave seeming to have his own language. This honestly is not a dig at you Dave, but put aside some of the errors in spelling, I still can't really understand your point a lot of the time. 99.9% off people are very happy with the club. Think before you type, if you wernt so aggressive in your post/name calling then perhaps you would get a better response and threads wont be locked/moved.

Why can't people just accept that this is a car forum full of usefull information and not a social networking site. It seems some members spend their days thinking of controversial threads and argumentitive points which I also feel are of no benefit of the club.
If people really feel the moderating team are infringing there human rights and there freedom of speech then feel free to leave the club and force your views on some other misfortunate people on an alternative forum. Like cliosport for example there you will be allowed to argue till your egos are satified.

To start, i dont post very often, but always read through the threads. If there is something i dont like i ignore it. I think the problem here is that people are getting aggressive and causing needless arguments. Its always difficult to understand something that is in writing rather than spoken. I think the mods, comittee, members and agrieved get the point now.
I as a member would like to see this thread locked, and hopefully things can be sorted more amicably away from the eyes of everyone who doesnt care, but may start thinking twice about renewing there membership.
