Who has bought their tickets?
I'll be purchasing mine soon, is anyone else ahead of the game and already made their order?
Don't forget, the quicker you buy, the cheaper they are - See top thread in the Pod forum for full details :D

Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Dawn will be taking her new car:D
I would have bought a ticket but my 200 is still using it's old engine. I was hoping to get the new setup in and have the quickest rwd car there, but I still haven't got round to building the engine yet.

Re: Who has bought their tickets?
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Well, no, I was hoping;)
But i'd like at least 125mph across the line, I really wanted 130:D
It's looking unlikely the car will even run at this time though.
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
wll i still got a gearbox in bits, engine on the floor, rear subframe out, no wiring or plumbing, no tax, no mot.

-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
So, Stu, more realistically the bet should be for who actually builds their car first:D

Re: Who has bought their tickets?
I'll try and find out for you Rob but I doubt it.
Less than 5 weeks to go, is it the usual yearly mad rush to put your cars back together?
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Well my time off work has now been confirmed, so I'll be there :D
Haven't been to 'pod for years! I miss the old meets we used to have up there, and of course, the convoys
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
That's a point. If anyone wants to arrange a convoy then feel free to use the Pod forum to do so - So we can keep all the threads together :)
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Yep, its going to be a rush to get the car ready for may 9th first never mind rtoc, i best hurry up and order my new turbo :), then after that event ill have to strip it to swap cams, springs, etc.. and anything else that should occur after that event.. glad ive booked that week off work now before rtoc to get it sorted.. happy days...
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Ticket prices go up soon so be sure to buy your tickets while the larger discount still stands :agree:
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?

It goes up to £60 for members on May 1st I believe, with it being £25 on top of that for non-members
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
I better get one bought before then in that case. I'll even take your yellow submarine up the strip if it comes to it:laugh:
-

Re: Who has bought their tickets?
I had a few regular Indian customers come in on Tuesday, as I started to drive off they actually asked me if I was half Indian, purely because of the colour:laugh:
Looks gold, mate (in an Indian accent)
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Leave Paxo alone...she's cheap on petrol!
Aaaaaaaaaaaanyways, we bought a new fabby tent yesterday in preparation for Pod. It was a bargain too, a £150 tent for £65, chuffty muffty!
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
When you say, ''we'', did you really mean me:laugh:
To spare myself a rollocking, I actually put it on my debit card which i'm getting paid back for:D
-
Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Only a week to go until the price increases for everyone. No reservations can be made on the lower price, you'll need to buy one online :agree:
-

Re: Who has bought their tickets?
Bugger this has come around quick!
Well I had better try and make some time to take the car off the road and fit all my new mods. Only a few to do :O
New inlet manifold - bit of work on the tb also
Fit / time cams - new uprated springs and new oil seals
Cambelt change
Water pump / coolant flush
Weld up new air filter intake system
Baffle sump
Fit oil pressure / temp gauges
Make new turbo downpipe section - if fitting the garrett
Fit new rods - so head off
Bit of head work
Good service
Mapping
Track tyres back on
Review fuel sytem setup and change to braided fitments and adj FPR
Geo - needed
And last but not least my new rather big rear wing :D
Figers crossed should give me a 10sec run as the clutch is now sorted after last year slipping mess :D currently running 0-100 in 8.7 so hope to get that down to a very low 8 with a gear change less due to raised rev limit and extra 50bhp.
Is all else fails I am sure I will still make it but not sure if I would run in current setup as I know what it can do - cannot better 11.3 :(
Would be great to catch up with the gang also as I have not seen most of your mugs for a while :D

I may have a word with Mike and see if he could bring one!
Its held out ok at the moment, only reason i never fitted gt box is didn't have one also wanted to keep the standard campus clocks. Gears are slightly shorter but could bring gearing up again by using my taller drag tyres on the day.
