Anyone (else) from the N.E travelling down early Friday morning?

Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009
Well it's getting close and caught up with Mart this morning regarding the low down :D
Def coming and hope to have sorted my slight oil leak issue and flames lol
I will be there 1st thing and going back home in the afternoon to pick up the girlfriend and back for more racing and be camping overnight.
Glad to see most of the gang are still coming - Shop Boy get your arse there, who's car will I steel if I need to do another pit stop for new tyres :D in fact could do with stealing it to pick Sarah up :P save me £15 in fuel
Really could do with someone bringing my spare rear wheels / tyres as I am sure the cut slicks will burn the clutch out and may be better to run road tyres and brake traction to give the clutch a better time?
Hope the weather is good and really looking forward to a day off work in the sun with friends doing what I love best - playing with cars.......
DG

Thing is I never seen to get there before 10am then setting up the tent and sorting the car its usually lunch time before I get on the track!

There is no age restrictions, baby's and toddlers are welcome (just remember you are the responsible adult) warn your parents that camping is a relaxed/party like nature... ie: bon fire's/BBQ's, drinking, loud talking/laughter and always some annoying c*nts with bigfeet who thinks its funny to take your pole's out of your tent.... (not pointing to Bigfoot or Dunc G :D)
But i am sure your 15 year old bro will enjoy it and be made welcome!

Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009
not 100% sure ill be able to make it yet but ive just booked thurs and fri off work, cars back to AVA on thurs to get that boost issue sorted ,if all goes well ill drive down through the night .
Will i be able to pay at the gate on the day ? i paid upfront for natday weekend track and camp tickets last year for 2 peeps and had to pull out week before so lost my cash which was pretty dissapointing seeing as Miller(never answer pms) told me id get it back :crap: still waiting !!!
-
Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009
You can pay on the day Mud .
Just need to seek me or A N Other CM out :agree:
My mobile ( for anyone wanting to sort out last minute passes etc )
07974 493002
Tomorrow realistically is the last chance to get them in the post but I will have a list of those sold so I would suggest all those wanting tickets now pay online or on the day and I'll keep record and the ticket for the day .
Please could anyone that flogs their ticket on let me know who he/she :agree:
-
Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009
i spotted you trying to get the RAOC to come along too. good luck - but they tend to view the RTOC as chav central - far to low brow for the like of the alpine boys...
-
Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009

I was hoping some of the 'tuned' boys might show an interest but not looking good :(
Ahh well.............. their loss ...

Yep, £60 online now until Friday morning at 6.30  That's when I leave the house .........£65 on the gate ..cash only :coffee:
-
Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009
Id buy one now but Ive updated my paypal details and im waiting for the 4 digi num to get back to me...can I not just have it...for £60 at the gate ? pretty...PRETTY please :cooter:
-
Re: RTOC @ Santa Pod, 29th May 2009
As clee says, £60 in the shop, £65 on the gate, 1st come first served.
We cant be keeping tickets aside for people when others will be turning up with cash in hand waiting to buy. What if the person they are been held for doesn't turn up, the club losses £65. Not an issue if we'd have sold 50+ tickets and booked another 50, 'cos then the club would be starting to break even. As it is we stand to lose well over a grand.
Everyone has had the chance to buy them for over 3 months now, soz, but deems the rules :)
