Re: Megane Coupe 225 Conversion
This is how the car looked when I rolled it out yesterday morning.

Right I'll start with the sunroof.

You can see the two brackets here that were riveted into place.

http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11272.jpg
Then I added another two either side.

The took my perspex that I 'd spent what felt like years shaping! and tried it for size.

Then I sealed it into place, and thats where it all went tits up for a bit with the sikaflex.
Anyway I sorted that out the next morning by sanding down the excess.

If i were to do it again I'd not be a nob and forget to mask up and seal it tkaing my time. But anyway its in now and it does its job it keeps the water out.
I'm just going to spray it Matt black or possible spray the roof matt black and the sunrrof gloss.
Next up was dashboard and carpet.

Engine bay shot.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11268.jpg
Started on some of the interior wiring, I've got the passenger door popper working from the wing mirror and from the button on the centr part of the dash.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11287.jpg
Then just a couple more shots of other stuff that got done.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11281.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11279.jpg
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11286.jpg
One just before it was rolled back in.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11282.jpg
Then one with all the **** piled in front of it!
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11288.jpg
I've brought the ECU home so I can check that the next cable i get works properly, with a bench test.
I've probably done loads more but forgotten and I'm knackered!!
Oh here's one more.
http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a83...5/SDC11278.jpg
I'll probably remember more as the week continues!
Cheers guys for the comments btw.

That looks absolutely freakin fantastic, fair shout to you :agree:
Re: Megane Coupe 225 Conversion
Looking good Gaz, that pic with all the crap in front of it just reminds me of what I'm faced with everytime I open the garage to work on my clio  I really need to get it finished.
Re: Megane Coupe 225 Conversion
I know what you mean it takes about 30 minutes just to get everything out of the way!

Any updates mate? Why did the laguna gear shift not fit?
Re: Megane Coupe 225 Conversion
I pm'd Gaz about this recently and he said the location of reverse is different, sure it was up and far left with the 225 and right and down on the laguna.
Re: Megane Coupe 225 Conversion
Yeah as Speedy said the reverse was the wrong way round.
No updates on it at the moment haven't touched it since the last update, really need to pull my finger out tbh
