Stock lump with a T2/T25 turbo
http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h1...5F5ADF4EC7.jpg
Cool. Great project.
On that chart the torque seems to flatten right off from 3100-3800, when you'd expect it to be doing the opposite. Weird.
Yeah I thought it looked a bit flat, quite linear really.
Don't know how well it was set up at this stage. This was before the car was taken off the road and stripped down
:cool::cool::cool::cool:
This really is great to see ! I knew Morgy went on a lot about the parts he had everytime I spoke to him but never realised he had gone to this extent !
Used to love this car back in the day, I think its time to change the grill and wheels though? Nice to see it all painted!
I have a friend local to Plymouth breaking a 5 if there is anything you need? Most has been sold so far but the shell is there and other bits (bodykit etc)
Look forward to the updates and will watch this thread with interest! I reckon you will beat mine to getting on the road  Also will need to keep a sharp eye on that for sale section ;)
Yeah he went a bit mad with his parts spend really.
I think for now I will be putting the stock lump in and seeing what it needs. It's a lot of work.
Saw your thread earlier, good work :agree: Fancy coming n helping put mine back together?
I sold it to Morgy so when he had it I had already had everything done to it. Got a stock grille and will be keeping oe wheels on it
I kept going on to get it done or at least on the road! Then he ended up buying that Tungsten / Green caged 5 which was such a bad move... I know he fitted some parts on this also, new hoses etc and alloy bits
I'll put yours together if you put mine together ?! :crap: ??
Time... that's my problem !
Yeah :crap:
He robbed a load of the good stuff of the raider to put the grey one on the road :disagree:
Fair shopping list of parts for the Raider now
Good to know there is someone local anyway :agree:
So, went off to collect the shell today and another 2 loads of gear
So much stuff to go through

Good times I would love that. Reminds me of having two 5's and parts everywhere. Work out what you need and sell the rest.. happy days.. but realise you will have 5 parts now for a long time I ended up having to bin some of my stuff when I moved :(
washing a bare shell :O hope water's not sat around in it mate
I gave it a good drying out with some if the missus finest towels
Yup, parts everywhere!!
Any progress yet dude? Or you been banned after using the mrs finest towels.
Not really :(
Seem to have been manic with everything else at the moment!
I did fit up the doorseals and start the engine bay loom
Picking up the engine & glass Fri PM then waiting on bodykit and bumpers back from paintshop :coffee:
Turned into a dust collecter :cooter: or have you been sneaky and got this nearly finish buddy?
:ashamed:
Sold most of the goodies and got a decent offer for the remainder of the project so it had to go really :crap:
However, I still frequently browse and look for the right 5 and when it appears I hope to be back amongst it
Less than 6 months and you sold it all off
Anything left? LOL
1/2 cage but will probably keep it!
Was too much work and I'm too impatient
Sold to me:D, Will be starting a thread once I have moved house.
I'm sure with Jims knowledge, experience and patience it will be cracking when finished.
She I couldn't see it through but gave Jim a good project and made a few pennies on the rest of it
