you can use shocks from renault 19/megane as well but you will have to swap
the bottom mounting bushes as they are a different internal diameter .
have look on the bay m8 i bought a brand new pair of gas shocks for my phze 1 about 3 moonths ago and there awsome they have helped the handling no endQuote:

sitting lower would not have much to do with the shocks.
you may have a problem with the axle etc
