Low Fuel Level Warning Light

Hi Guys,

Anyone know the craic with the low level warning light?? I can't remember the last time I saw the light come on, on my car??

I've had a search of the boards & come across the following wiring diagram:

It would appear that the light only comes on after the Aux Pump Timer has counted down?? Is this correct??

Q1) How long does Aux Pump Timer countdown?

Q2) If the light doesn't come on the dash will the aux pump not work?

I've checked the bulb in the dash & that seems ok??

I pulled the sender out of the tank this afternoon & set it to replicate the tank being empty & still the low level warning light never came on??

Anyone got any Ideas of what I should try??

Really run out of fuel .....................
