bullet cams ?

after some info about these ,i am sure there are people using them on track etc .
found this on ebay and wondering if my samsung digital camera would be
compatible as a recording device ,if not whats the cheapest recording device
option out there :confused:

bit of an additional info , i want to locate the bullet cam inside the car
and want it to be able to record with the flick of a button .
is there a way to power it all up via the car battery rather than
them tiny/horrible disposable jobbies ?
