Does anyone know the history of E940 XGN

I've just bought a Black GTT from Jackw04_123, and I've just started to strip it down to restore it. There are a few bits missing here and there, and the loom is a bit of a mess but that's not a problem for me.

Anyways, does anyone know the history of this car? It came with no clocks, so I don't know the mileage, and I have no history documents except the V5, so if anyone knows the car or has owned it, it would be great to hear from you.
