Replacement ciggy lighter, help!

Ok so my cigarette lighter tray has given up the ghost.. it wont click into place at the top due to having it in and out so many times for wiring gauges etc. I have it screwed in at the bottom but it keeps popping out and its driving me MENTAL!
I have decided I am going to fit a carbon fibre sheet there but would like to keep my cigarette lighter.. only way to remove it from the tray is smash the tray I suppose? If not will the plug arrangement fit into the 'R5' ones on ebay as they do not look the same from the pics?
