Re: Wheel spacer help needed
mate i'm not entirly sure on this one but my car has 10mm spacers and i swapped the wheels around yesterday for some bigger rims, there rubbing on full lock so might put the spacers back on the new ones, i think a set of universal 5 or 10 mm will do you but its important to have at least 5 full threads of your wheel nut in the hole.
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
Cheers mate, that does get me on the way. I was wondering about the 5mm. I didn't want to get them and it not be enough or too much.
I thought there would be a few more replies actually
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
ive always had the problem with this. got the same wheels and need to get that sorted when the cars back up and running. i think im running 5mm spacers front and back with the same tyres as you.
they still slightly rub at the back just. and the front on full lock.
not sure if ten mm is going to be to much tho. and what size bolts i would need and where to source them...
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
i have a set of 12.5mm hubcentric spacers with longer bolts up for grabs if you need them?
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
Still stuck on this guys and would appreciate your thoughts. The spacers are quite alot of cash and I cant go buying anything I dont need.
I was thinking if I get 5mm they might be perfeect with the bolts I have (+ new locking wheel nuts).
OR
10mm but I think this will be too big and unecessary?.
any more thought from anyone. Anyone local got a 5mm spacer I could borrow?
Thanks all.
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
Hi mate,
I have the same wheels on mine. I cant remember off the top of my head what size spacers i used, but will look for you tomorrow. I did have to use longer wheel bolts, think i got them from rallydesign.

Re: Wheel spacer help needed
Rally Design sell only OMP wheel spacers, normally about 19mm thick.........if that helps...

if you use spacers that thick you will loose the centre bore and the bolts will be taking all the strain of the wheels

No, as these ones have a spigot on them that retain the centre bore mounting.
The OMP ones bolt onto the hub with countersunk bolts, the you use the normal wheel bolts to get the wheel on....
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
Eibach also make hubcentric spacers, Porsche use this method too........
Re: Wheel spacer help needed
Anyone think these would do the job ?
If they are for the Clio will they fit the 5 in the centre?. I know they are all 4x100.
With a 10mm spacer I'm thinking I possibly wont suffer from wheel wobble because theyll still sit in the hub?.
Thanks in advance. Hopefully ordering tonight so comments appreciated.
