Really cant understand why they command that sort of price, must be their rarity but just think of what other cars you could buy for that money

I really wanted one and thought if I got £9k together I could probably find a decent one but I can't! That's why I'm going to have to leave the stable and get an Elise..
I just don't understand why the turbo 1/2 commands such a price just because the engines in the back it's still a gordini and smells fusty.. but I think that's just sour grapes :)
Hmmm.. How much would it cost to make a turbo 1/2 from a gordini?

could be worse, try finding a 6R4, or an RS200 for less than £40k
admittedly a lancia delta integrale is more in line with the turbo 2's prices.

Re: Nice turbo 2 but for how much................
true.. I guess it's the group B rally heritage that bumps it up

looks like an OE rear chassis to me. also an OE turbo 2 engine. - unlikely that he got hold of them from a scrap yard?

Agree its over-priced, but a good n will always be worth more the a bad n, you only have to look at the GTT prices, maybe £800ish for a not so good one and maybe 4+ for a correct nice car.
I would say £30,000 for a mint T2:agree::)

if i bought any of them minters i'd use it everyday till it was no longer.. i just couldn't let a ford sit in the garage in a bubble.. a 10k renault 5 could tho and i love them, fords i dont feel the same, hence would use it:)

when the rallyed the delta s4 im sure the fuel tanks use to be under the passanger/drivers seats ....in the rally of 1986 in mayhenri toivonen was at the limit of driving the s4 and was apartley not 100% well but still continued to race the car he was doing realey well and times were very quick on the course but miss judged the corner and went off into a tree and the car blew up.:(killin him instantley and co driver sergio cresto.lancia had removed the skid plate that protects the fuel tank i think it was to save weight on the car i think the car had hit the tree the fuel tank was ruptured and was peirced from the damage wit makin the car blow up instantley.a good driver shame he not round any more r.i.p

Re: Nice turbo 2 but for how much................
The last Delta S4 I saw for sale went for 150K!!!
There is a large difference in price between running T2's and one which were running but funds have subsequently run out. Even a good one isn't worth 30K plus though unless it has historic relevance.
Check the classifieds if you want a car with nice potential. Has to go a.s.a.p. as there are other important matters I have to attend to. :crap:

Re: Nice turbo 2 but for how much................
Those new RS focus are hideous up close, they look like they have smashed into the Ripspeed counter and everything on the desk has attached itself to the car.
It's as hideous as the rear spoiler on my 888 astra coupe!:laugh:
