Ok great thank you very much. Il go and check him out 😆
Re: B18FT. Choosing a clutch
I would use a paddle friction plate with the Valeo cover, will help cope with the extra torque
Are you using standard ecu's with your engine?

Re: B18FT. Choosing a clutch
AT 200ft lbs the Volvo 440T clutch should do it. That what so many 5GTTs used with that sort of torque. The Valeo one mentioned above is the one: Valeo Volvo 480 Turbo 200mm 3 piece kit in a green box. Valeo part no. 801015.

However, you can get quite a bit more than 200ft lbs with that 1.7 litre, hence the suggestion to use a paddle centre plate with the above cover.

When I stripped my gearbox I measured the clutch plate but it was measuring 215mm not 200m would this cause a problem. I heard that the later volvo model came with a 215mm clutch plate and earlier was 200m I had a look round but couldn't find a Vale clutch measuring 215mm. Kind regards josh

Re: B18FT. Choosing a clutch
I've got a feeling Helix do a 215mm 4 paddle.
Re: B18FT. Choosing a clutch
Yes that 801015 is a for the 200mm so I expect it won't fit a 215mm. Sorry, I don't know any part numbers for 215mm.
