i've just changed the boost pipe with the over boost sensor in it and one of the cables was very frayed and broke off. how essential is it that its connected or can i leave the cables off?

cheers

Im sure it cuts in at the end of the red on the standard gauge on the dash from memory, circa 18psi carb top..

Olly your gtt is running circa 14psi carb top, 3/4 into the red. Overboost didnt cut in after working one was fitted so no bother there:cool:
