View Full Version : Bailey Dump Valve Openn on Idle
Has anyone got a Bailey dump valve and is it open on idle, just finishing off the rebuild of the car and tonight i noticed that the dump valve was open on idle then when i hit the throttle it closes till i take my foot off when it does its dump thing, i have the vacuum tied into the aei to carb base pipe as standard, anyone else have this and will it cause idle problems ect?
Mate I asked exactly the same question a couple of weeks ago and was told it's perfectly normal.

Perfectly normal on idle as the aei vacum will be sucking the piston on the dump valve thus it being open.:D

Cheers Mate, just do not recall it doing it before but then i suppose it has been a while :scratch:
