local motor factors will be able to sort you out. The 9/11t shafts should fit straight on.

Yes all models of R11 and R9 have the same driveshaft

We still have the part numbers on our system from Remy Automotive and drivelink

cool , i thought there were different lengths along the range .
if they are all the same ,i will just get them from the local factors :agree:

Back in the day when i had a couple of 1.4 n/a 11s to break the shafts were the same.

They will work fine aslong as the shaft is the thick diameter tube like the gtt shaft:)

nice one mate :agree:

another question if you know the answer please ?
why the hell are the 5/9/11 shafts twice as thick as say a renault 19 16v ?
assuming they are not hollow , is it not a bit cautious of renault to
use these on a 120 bhp car (my gtx was 90bhp btw )
where as the 19 16v has more power ,plus bigger/heavier 15" wheels
to spin up

I have a nearly new near side and a good offside 11T driver shaft set for sale if you want them?

I think there is something in the 'hollow tube' theory for the shafts. Someone did tell me about the differences between them but can't remember what it is! I'll let you know when the brain starts working again! :crap:
