screaching sound [Archive]

when cars on full throttle doing over 80mph i have a terrible squealing sound comming from under bonnet at drivers side. ive checked the water pump belt for tightness and its ok i even checked to see if the water pump was seazed even spun the water pump and its free as a bird. im baffled.

Does it happen just over that speed at any gear? or just 5th gear? Particular revs it starts making the noise?

What sort of noises does it make in first gear at 80mph then :laugh:

I was talking about 3rd, 4th, 5th :rolleyes:
