does anyone use perspex windows on a daily runner??is it a good idea/worth the grief?!!are they noisey as hell would i have to tell my insurance!!:cry:!!

which windows would you do?
windscreen - no, it'll scratch to hell
doors - no, you can't beat wind down windows on the road
side rear - possibly if you use base model rubbers
rear - not if you want a heated screen or wiper.
replace the side rear windows and you'll save about 2Kg..

i use them on my daily driver, they have sliders, and they leak when it rains. :)
I've had a full set sat in the garage for years but never had the heart to wreck the look of the car by fitting them.

iv got a full set on my track car and was thinking of making it road legal so just putting glass in the front screen!!iv got a set of manual window regs for the front so was thinkin i could mock them up on the front . hadnt thought of rear heated screen!!and just thought il hav 2put the heating system and dash back in !!!!weight!!!!
