New poster! (less than 10 posts)
has anyone replaced their front jacking points(crossmembers or outriggers)just wanted to know if there was any issues with the job(i've just got 2 although reasonably priced at 43euro each)??
i had new jacking points put on ma 5 last year. the guy that welded them in said that they were a perfect fit and an easy job. it was well worth the efort mate.:D
my jacking points on the front need replacing , where do i buy them from ?? renault ?? any 1 got price and part numbers thanks matt:)

renault are the only ones i think...i've just replaced the left one with the car on axil stands...an absolute pain in the neck!! if u can use a ramp an a garage it will be alot easier.

i wonder if a thicker metal sheet could be used
for making jacking points ?
i think this is what i need replacing, has any 1 got a pic of 1 or part numbers?

i think its number 4 and 8 in this pic?

im sure i have the part numbers. if i find them i will post them up later.
they were around 27 quid each when i got them but that was a couple of years ago now.
no. 4 - 77 51 621 719 C/MEMBER LH N5 £35.90
no. 8 - 77 51 621 720 C/MEMBER RH N5 £35.90
are they the defo the jacking points items 4 and 8 ??

If you mean nos. 2, 6 and 9, they are:
No. 2 - 77 50 795 179 MEMBER LH CHAS CL 23.60
No. 6 - 77 51 467 932 CHASSIS MBR RH CL 42.10
No. 9 - 77 50 716 450 CROSSMEMBER FT N5 56.50
