:D..as in the pics , nick kettle sat with my goodself and krissey @ world series and said id like your turbines for my cabby 5..to which i replied o.k. id like to borrow your body for the weekend along with our pmt hussey mr krissey m...we change the engine over and you get the wheels for owt...an more..;), well despite the rain , myself an kissey m after many whiskeys the night before started stripping the ole girl, nick then arrived and we got the ole 167000 engine out, she looked like me after a years tree work...:laugh:, we then took the engine out of the donor phase 1 which had a few goodies an 56000 on it and procceded to transplant it into the ole girl, the only true hiccup was that the boris downpipe had to be pmt`d by ourselves and the farmer...see pic...:laugh:, ohh and a mocal sandwich plate with a stat in is a bitch....nicks thumb will tell you why... youll never win a fight with a hammer and mallet against a engine mount...allthough we did...:D, after the first night we had a couple of beers etc and some guitar hero...see pic and then finished it off on day two..i went to the shops as i couldnt bear to see if it started up....:eek:..well it did, good oil pressure etc and it seems to run well, i have to bleed it again i think but ill keep you updated as to how it goes...:scared:...;).
I must say a huge thanks to nick and krissey m for all they did, they are top people and very good mates, two shinning examples of what rtoc should stand for...:D, ta chaps , the three of us were a damn good team...man i have engine bay OCD ..:wasntme:, cheers guys...jeez.
