How do you know when your crank needs a re grind ?
Deep scoring ??
Light scoring ??

How do you judge it thanks matt :)

best thing to do is just pop it along to somwhere and get them to check it.

Ok it will cost a little but at least your deffo sure then.

They could match bearings etc

i think the journals are measured and if found out of tolerance they are all reground back to a measurement that equalises across the whole of the crankshaft

balancing is very important too :D

so its a case of using a mircomter measuring the journals ,i fought it was to to with scoring ???
