very nice a clean , has your car had a full respray loves nice and shiny in the engine bay ,like it .

whats that inline filter you are using on your turbo type and price thanks matt:)

thanks for comments, the engine bay was resprayed by myself but i left the scuttle area as that just needs a good clean. im trying my best to get to nat day but works winning the battle right now. the 5 will not be there though. next year it will be up and running properly.

bit of a update, car is now finally running, all seems well. i had a few niggles but so far so good. insuramce was paid today so i just need to get it mot'd then im on the road and can start running this engine in.

Well the Mot is booked for Monday and Insurance is all paid up. I'm hapy with the condition of it and it should pass. Would like to thank everyone for their help donating time and parts. Logg. Bigdanc. Dogsh1t dave. Markeymark. Gttnutter. Bod. Turboted. Mikeph116v. And lots of guys on the classifieds and boards for coming up with the goods :agree:
Well that's another 5 back on road and completed.

Well Phil, after meeting member Alistair Gresty and taking a deposit for my car, I had serious second thoughts.:ashamed: The emotional attachment was too great in the end, and gave him his deposit back! Alistar has had a private apology, so this is his public apology, sorry dude for messing you around a few months back, I did feel a cnut. :ashamed:
got it booked in for an mot on wed , so we shall see what happens.

it passed the MOT but i have a few jobs to do asap. needs new fuel lines a rear caliper and a track rod end. i just got the parts so need to fit it all up.

well i have pretty much finished the car now and have gone as far as i am prepared to go as it just keeps eating money. im happy with how it come out after the state it was in when i bought it. now i just need to decide whether to keep it or not??

i dont use it, this is the reason i have to stop ploughing bits onto it. been around 5's for 3 years and i have never really been able to open the garage and just go for a drive and its a complete waste, so time to start enjoying it more. once these parts arrive from mike it wont be off the road for a while.

Well after the turbo decided to eat itself at national day and only leave me with the housings I had to buy a complete new core. I picked it up last night from turbo developments after a very short turnaround so I'm very happy now. Just got to clean all the mess from the engine bay and fit it.
