If you can remember Rich had a little problem with his starter motor.....

http://www.rtoc.org/boards/showthread.php?t=7658

now after dropping the car down to my unit we whipped the engine out to find a right mess :) the engine steady at the front had snapped off its housing and made contact with the fly wheel and it could do this with great ease as it never had the flywheel cover plate on it :wasntme: this in turn cased a load of swarf to go into the starter motor locking it up and chewing the flywheel up.......and that was that so we decided as the engine is out we might aswell do a few cosmetic changes to it :D and after allot of sweat and tears these are the closing stages of the re-build.....Richard has the earlier pictures but i will paint a picture with words......."The Engine had never come out of this 20+ yr old car that spent most of its life in the salty sea air......but it kept its self protected all the years with oil and grime that was smeared all over it"

Anyways here are some pics of the final stages Richard will post up what it looked like before when he can be bothered :)
