I have one fitted to my car, but how does it work, and which way would give me more boost, in or out??
(not that im planning on turning it up)

It does what is says on the tin .
It will bleed off air that should be going to the turbo actuator .The actuator opens a flap when it receives a certain amount of pressure ,this flap diverts the exhaust gases away from the turbo turbine .
You wind it out to increase boost as this will bleed more air off .
There is also another type of control, sometimes confused...this works in the opposite way . It needs winding in ...
This type impedes the air to the actuator until it reaches a certain pressure then a spring loaded ball bearing is forced back allowing air to the actuator .
Please to be knowing which you have :agree:

Why do you want to fit one if your not going to be adjusting the boost?
