all depend on the state of tune & boost psi i believe. There is a article on the site that covers the jets of the carb pretty well.

30psi is very high ... and you should deffo be producing more than 182bhp at that boost level on a C1J.

Do you have an aftermarket boost gauge installed?

30psi and 182bhp matey:laugh: some ones been pulling your plonker:wasntme:

With regards to jetting every engine is different and requires different jets, if I was you invest in decent wideband kit like the Innovate LM-1 and see what your car is currently doing?
Do you have a boost gauge that reads psi?? is the 30psi carb top or carb base.

yes i have a boost gauge that reads 30 psi but it just does not seem to run correctly. i have tried cleaning the carb witch made it a bit better but not alot.

Does the needle actually get up to the 30psi mark?

I would turn the boost pressure down if I were you bud! As has been mentioned already, it's best to get an AFR (air fuel ratio) meter in your exhaust to see what the fueling is doing before messing with boost pressures higher than say 15psi on stock carb jets. If it's still got the originals in and no mods to the 2nd stage enrichement circuit I am surprised you haven't blown a head gasket yet or worse!

I would check to see why it's boosting that high for a start. Check your vacuum cables for splits, etc. and remove the bleed valve.

As you've said it doesn't feel right, I would take everything back to standard, eliminate as many possibilities as you can and work your way along from there.
