which cam would u guys recomend??thinking piper 285 but still want my car to idle!!!!is there any diffrence from the cat cam 285??

The engine will idle fine with a piper 285. Pick a cam to suit your turbo.

i have a cat cam 285 i find it idles fine m8 no problems its good when just driving round town aswell if your going for the 285 you will no dout need a bigger turbo

Had Piper 270 and 285 with T25 turbo. Now i have BBPT GT Cam which is almost the same as CatCams 5500326 and it was best fit for T25 and for GT2554 that i have at the moment. You do not need to rev it over 6500 but you can if you want to.

Fitting vernier is a must with Piper (in my case) while CatCam is better "balanced" but still have one with it which is BTW lighter and thinner than Piper's.

p.s. 270 worked very good with standard T2.

7k m8 with t25 turbo like it alot

im running a gt tuning stage 8 roller turbo wirh modded exhaust snail and actuator so a piper 285 should b ok
