turbo oil feed [Archive]

I will be driving past pirtek tomorrow and want to talk to them about making me a turbo oil feed hose.

I have my new turbo in the back of my car so can get them to measure the fitting etc, but what about the other end, what should i ask for, does anyone know the size and description of the thread etc?

I'll prepare to be shot down, but im 99% sure the thread coming off the one way valve is 1/4" BSP

I would be interested to know what they quote you for making up an oil feed;)

As I'm currently looking for one with an inline filter too, have you seen the hose solutions ones on ebay with a filter already present?

Cheers! I think they are 1ft long or 12" or 31cm! lol I would get and extra inch (wouldn't we all!:cooter:) just to be safe!

i just went in pirtek with my turbo and my oil feed... he went over to his little box and bobs your uncle he came back with an adaptor to join the 2 :agree: sweet!!!! i just drilled the bore out a little.

didn't make it to pirtek today, but went to take the old oil feed off my car and low and behold, its already a bloody braided item.....:rolleyes:
