Isn't that the clio williams one?
Isn't that the clio williams one?
that website has it listed as renault 5.
out of interest, would the clio one fit/work?
Not sure about fitment but I'm sure it can be adapted to fit if it doesn't. Not really got much choice if they are now obsolete.
With a full fuel tank and a driver on board Renault state the clio williams should have 100bar brake system pressure at the front and 34-42bar rear brake system pressure. I can't find details for the 5 compensator and brake system pressures to hand at the moment but the clio compensator can be adjusted.
just out of interest do campus r5s use the same brake compensator ?

i got my hands on a new rear compensator today(gpv1034) and it looks almost identicle to the original, just slightly different spring.so if anyone is after one, give your local motor factor that code and they should be able to get it

whats the make?
whats the make?
gpv1034 is a TRW unit
Been down the scrapyard today and was having a nosy at a Renault extra van. The rear axle and compensator on these looks very similar, I might pop down and get the chassis code and cross reference the part numbers some time soon.
Also on Dialogys for the 5gtt compensator it asks if its a LHD or RHD shell.
RHD gives the part number: 60 01 009 148 B/LIMITER N5T £99.59
LHD gives the part number:60 01 007 399 BRAKE LIMITER £91.45
The LHD part number is the same as that used on the C409 which i think is the GTe model?
Maybe thats a possibility, are there any differences why the LHD and RHD gtt's used different compensators?
The pictures above does that have Bendix BDX? or Teves on the casting?
pics as requested
what does this one cost at local motor factors ??:)
