i cannot remember where i heard this, but i do recall it was definately mentioned on here.

the std OE wheel bearings are tapered/roller and not that of the ball bearing type,
these tapered/roller types are supposedly of far better quality than that of the ball type.!

can anyone confirm this? if so where would be the best place to source these apart from going to reno direct!

nope, and just been to look, but there is nothing written on the visible face

ah pollocks! so what about price? more than £20 per bearing id expect yes?

well if there asking that sort of price,i think i'll stick with ball type bearings.:rolleyes:

I know I couldnt believe it, there was no way I was going to pay £120 for a pair of bearings :laugh:

Yup, my motorfactor front wheel bearing has started to go already. Only fitted it in October last year

Has done afew miles though

Renault price is right, I spoke to them today to enquire

tell them that you'd like them at trade price, I do recall getting a pretty big discount.
