i know a few ppl (inc scoff) ran a injector in the base of the carb operating at high boost via a boost sensor.....

EFI, best to use a fabricated manifold with a decent size plenum. ECU wise they are all of a muchness, it's more down to who you want to do your setting up and what they recommend. For historical reasons I generally use Emerald, my dyno man uses MBE, scoff uses adaptronic, Pectel, DTA, even megasquirt.... You pays your money and takes your choice.

Its not quite full EFI, but I run an MF2 controller which can operate upto 4 injectors on boost. I use two which are in the boost pipe just before the carb, it then turns on when it reaches 15psi this then compesates for the extra fuel thats needed.

My car used to empty the float chamber, after drilling out the needle jet a countless number of times I got the arse with it flooding all the time so I decided to put the MF2 on there.
