I ripped the gearbox

Yep, i managed to crack gearbox housing. The differential just snapped into one side. Before it happened 2nd gear was harder than usual. I turned on the car. Put it in reverse, did few meters, place it into first BANG! and oil started dripping out of the box.

Now... I already have in plan to place support bracket but what do you say about this. Why does it happen? Just because of lot of torque, good grip or heavy hand?

just unlucky, it happens sometimes. Your diff has failed.
