Trouble sealing hose from carb base to inlet manifold

Changed all my hoses over on the weekend and ive got trouble sealing the hose from carb base to inlet manifold its leaking on the inlet manifold side any ideas what to do?

Is the fitting ok in the inlet manifold, they usually rot away.

Yea its fitting tidy its just the end where it goes on the inlet seems smaller than the rest and when i do the jubilee clip up it seem to pull away even with someone holding the clip rite at the end of the pipe

Brigsy said is the fitting o.k in the mainfold. If not you will have to drill it out tap a new thread and fit a shiney new brass one.:)
