Bric could sort something i guess, unsure of what time i was going to go, I think me and Scoff was planning on flying down saturday morning...???

If anyone is going Saturday morning let me know and i could arrange a convoy.. So far me, Scoff, Haz (maybe), Rocky Robin, PeteBYR will be heading down early Saturday....
I am hoping to go to .... but not sure what day , i might be in brum on firiday night so hook up with you lot on way down maybe ... still few issues to sort out yet tho .... rolling road booked for friday morning to see what i can do to stop it detting at 20psi .... and see how it performs .... then a driveshaft and a new bearing ..... :)
Anyone tell me the best place to get a race helmet from ???
Im hoping this is my first track day so anyone give me any pointers into anything i should buy or check or do .... Thanks.

Why are all you wierdo's going down on Friday ?! Whats the point ? Arrive, set up tent, sleep in cold field! Saturday morning for the winners ;) (just me and you then rob :cry: :laugh:)

Its all to do with money mate, just payed out £1600 for a new car tralier for the renault, crappy thing is its 6 - 8 weeks delivery so wont have it in time:cry:
Any of you guys towing your r5 down?
I thought it's street legal?

I thought the 5 had mot and insurance dude? Anyways I'm going down in convoy with member sihorton and hopefully my best mate with his rat bettle if it is ready in time, Saturday morning , he's got his Subaru on a trailor so we will be taking it slowly.

i thought the old bill dont like you towing cars with a towing aframe? its for recovery only.
ive got a A-frame witch i used to pick the car up. might just go for it! and tow it down in my van.

Our normal place of meet is the Truck Stop services on the M6 J20 (a50) just south after Thelwall bridge... There is a Mac Ds here and we meet on that carpark.
We dont have set time arrange as neither of us on the track so we dont need to be there for 8am for the brief.. But we will be leaving early in the morning, our traveling speed ermmmm unknown :scared: we can take it steady...

Ye im going and probs will be saturday when im going so ill convoy down if thats ok.
OK, we could do with a list of all those that are traveling down on Saturday morning.
2 options we have:
1/ Set off a little later, travel down on our own.
2/ Set of quite early and try and join the convoy further down, in brum or where ever.

Haz has come back early from france to make ND after I told him he would be a looser if he continued his holiday ;) So saturday morning list looks like this........
