Just fitted an sw mechanical oil pressure gauge and I seem to be getting very high readings. From cold at 1000 rpm idle I get 50 psi
at fan cutting in temp I'm getting 30 psi At 1000rpm

What should I be gettting guys?

im sure its around 25 psi on idle so 30 psi at 1000 rpm seems about right you should have 45 psi or more at 3500

Getting about 60 psi at 3500 Richie. Should I be worried?

Using halfords semi 10w 40. Has an mocal oil cooler with thermastat, so might not be opening fully yet as it is Just idleing and is not fit for driving due to fueling lean possibly. What would caus high pressure?
