fitting guages in air vents

Going to be fitting three guages to where the center air vents are, just wondered where am i best to get a live feed from so they light up when you switch lights on, the clock? where else?

ive got mine of the lighting wires that go into the back of the lights on switch.

but when i put my high beams on they go off lol.

anyone know how i can sort this? lol cheers

use ur clock wires...theres a positive,earth,ign and i think theres a lights on live!

i linked mine to the ignition live as they were digital gauges so they would always be on until ignition was off this worked well
