im going to change the gtturbo steering rack to one electric, how can o adapt ? the connection are diferents

there are 2 types off GTT rack/column, some are triangular, some have splines.

my Gtt have splines, the rack i wanto to put its sort of square ( second image in first post)

Only just noticed two pictures in your first post! Resizing those images would be a good idea.


You just need the different universal joint at the bottom of your steering column, it should be available from Renault.

Why do you want to convert from the manual gtt rack to the "electric" one? By electric I guess you mean power steering rack with an electric pump?

its for a F7P conversion, manual steering would be very heavy with this engine...

You can nick an electric PAS pump from a saxo VTR or VTS if you're using a clio rack

you sure? how much harder is the steering with a passenger in the car?
