End float / Thrust bearings.

Just rebuilding my engine (seals/Gaskets) and noticed alot of end float. Book say 0.05 - 0.23mm max. My float is 0.25mm. Can you buy just the thrust bearing to sort this or is more needed?? Engine 63K miles, rest all good!!:confused:

you can buy standard and oversized thrusts. If you haven't replaced them standards should be fine.

no idea where's cheapest, I just get mine from the guy who grinds my cranks.
