Not a total call on this one but I think a lot of people would say 15's.
I had 15's on my last car with a 50 profile. They fit very nice and snug with about 30mm drop.
This time I have gone for 16's with a 40 profile and they look quite tight but seem to do the job with no cutting :).

yuck, but thats my personal preference lol. :ashamed:
I was looking at the clio 172 wheels and found they have some really nice wheels now.
Someone started a thread in the old forum and it was full of cars with different wheels. Thats where I got my choice and started looking and emailing around.

i ran 195/50/15 on dropped suspension with no rubbing but found 195/45/15 tyres gave a far better ride and handling. 16s with a 40 profile will also go but depending how low you go will rub on full lock

i agree the turbines look cool especially with the centres powder coated gunmetal.
i also like the clio 16v 5 spoke clover leaf design.
i think the wheel choice for a 5 is so important, it makes or breaks trhe car.

Hocks are the bollox, Few more posts and i'll no longer be a Rtoc posting Green Virgin:crap:
Got to be 15" wheels with 195/45 tyres. Plenty of nice wheels out there in 15". Go for something nice & light:)
TSW
The TSW Hocks are awesome wheels always loved them on the 5 and personally i think they suit the 5 really really well (had a set on my previous tungy wish i kept the weels as spares :().
Best wheel size for the 5 has to be 15" with 195/45/15 tyre.

They steal the centre caps. I don't know what they do with them! They stole mine and others around here.

Ok, they look sweet, Mine are definetely Tsw's, with the same design multispoke, but these both seem to have a lip on the outer wheel, where mine is flat?
The ones on my old white 5 are the original TSW Hock's (that picture was taken about 12 years ago). I believe TSW changed the design since, then they did stop producing them altogether at one point.
Ahh, hold on. There were 2 types of Hock' alloys if I remember correctly - The Hockenheim-R type, and the standard Hockenheim. I think mine were the 'R'...

Me neither, I'm gonna get mine out the loft now for sure, although I am missing 2 centre rings.
I do recall a chap who put Renault logo's in place of the Tsw centre badges. I'll try and dig out a pic.
Although I do love Tsw Stealths:cool:

ok, ok im 'tyred' ;) :cooter::D
Can't beat the turbines, heavy wheel though. Ive got 2 sets now;)
Hocks & blades look good though, ive always fancied a set of both for my gtt. Im becoming a wheel whore, got 4 sets & always on the lookout for more:D
Another rim i like on the gtt is the oz superleggera, nice & light too.
Got a set of williams alloys for the van for winter, need refurb & tyres which ain't too cheap unfortunately.
Has anybody weighed a clio williams alloy, im assuming there lighter than the turbines?

Mine came with blades.. they need a bit of a re-furb and the front needs dropping another inch :) but I don't think I'll be changing them unless I can afford a set of superlegga's and that's only because they weigh less :)

maybe, im thinking of flogging the Bf's and getting the williams wrapped it r888s for a larger track/strip wheel/tyre combo..
i really dont know why i have all these wheels, to add to it i've got 5 gtt 13s, some loose saabs alloys to get shot off, 4 vauxhall steels with continental winter tyres, 4 vauxall corsa alloys (2 kerb'd to sheeite) and at work 4 toyota alloys have turned up with good tyres..
all for ebay... about 3 quid in it all i bet:sad2:
