Carb Mixture

If my mixture screw has snapped off in the hole, but the car still drives fairly normally, idles ok, where is the fuel coming from ? :scratch:

I've just noticed on a carb rebuild photo that there's a little nippley type thing inside the idle jet, i don't have one ! what does it do ??

The brass bullet should be fitted. Change the mixture screw for a new one, about a quid. The remainder of the mixture screw will punch out from the underneath of the base.

Cheers for the reply bud, i've got a new screw to put in but where do i get one of the bullets from ? an what difference does it make ?
