I want to fit a more accurate oil pressure guage, where is the best place to get the feed from? Im running a inline filter on turbo oil feed so this as made it to tight to add one here i think.

If i get a electrical gauge can i run it of the sender that runs the standard guage?

If not what would i be best to do? electrical or mechanical and where to fit sender?

thanks

get a mechanical one and if you go to CGB he sells the adapter that replaces the oil feed from the block to the oil feed too the turbo

think the total setup will cost about £35

ok ive just brought a mechanical oil pressure guage, now i want to keep the one on the dash working too. Can i fit a adapter inline with the oil turbo feed that will let me attach the new gauge to it?

if so what is the thread size and where can i get it from.

any help would be great as i want to but the part and fit it before i drop the engine in.

many thanks

i got one like this

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SIERRA-ESCORT-COSWORTH-TURBO-OIL-PRESSURE-GAUGE-ADAPTOR_W0QQitemZ390066281506QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK _CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5ad1c31c2 2&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=65%3A12|66%3A2|39%3A1|72%3A1683|293%3A1| 294%3A50

but you will have to check the thread sizes you have.......maybe AdamL might be able to source one for you>?
