240 MB and its JPEG.

Do not upload files that are larger than they need to be, max is 2Mb per file.
Are you sure its 240mb becuase that is one hell of a picture. Thats nearly 1/4gb. dont get many pictures to your computer hard drive :)

Sy , i had this problem till nice ole scoff suggested saving them using paint, they go straight on then no worries , my camera is 12.1 megapixels ans it seems the site dont like it, was fine with the old one, give that a try you old goat you....:D
Cheers Jeez. Mine is 12 meg so could be the same thing...... Old Goat :agree:
I always use this to resize images, have had no problem loading up pictures
http://download.microsoft.com/download/whistler/Install/2/WXP/EN-US/ImageResizerPowertoySetup.exe
Just tried the paint thing and........................ FAILED!
Cheers Dale, I'll give that a go. :agree:
Works now. :agree:
Had to resize them. Good work chaps..:)
I believe the maximum resolution on image uploads here is 1024x768.
Pretty much every camera over 1 megapixel will take pictures larger than this on the max settings, so they will need resizing :)
Yes, its a size thing as the guys say. It isn't there to annoy you though, or because the site can't do it, it's just there to save on precious HD space on the rtoc server :)
