J plate fuel pump whines

On my other r5, the Jplate there appears to be a constant whining of the fuel pump (full tank of fuel) the whine sounds almost like the aux fuel pump is working constantly.. any ideas as?? the car hasnt shown any problems but its just quite anoying really.

well its working or it would be the thread "my car conked out and wont start again"
id take this as a sure sign its about to die, its making a loud wiring noise as the gear inside is worn, mine does this before packing up luckly had rac on insurance!! usserly i dont bother!

ah , well i was wondering if for some reason my aux pump had got stuck on constant.

ok then man, ill get under the smelly thing as see which one it is making the dinn, I seem to spend far to much time looking at the underside of my r5 :P

I bought a brand new Bosch ph1 pump from GSF last september. It has whined loudly ever since i fitted it. I mean its very apparent, but ive never had any problems with it ??

I've had a new one in the past and it wined for the first thousand miles and then went quiet.
