Discovered on Sunday that my front nearside disc is warped, which could well have been me trying to clear the rust off them or that it's only noticeable at the speed i was able to do on the roads to and from Silverstone. I'll probably keep the discs original but what are the options re the pads and also best suppliers. Got Pagid RS4-2's on the T which are excellent but they don't seem to do any for the 5 and although I'd like to upgrade they are probably better than i need.

I meant to say to you on Sunday pal that you should dig out yourself some Ferrodo DS2500 front pads for your car.

That's what i've got fitted on mine since the TV thingy (trying everything i could to beat that dam Twingo ) and they're brilliant!

They give you a new car feel to the brakes that you can'y seem to get with other pads!

Okay thanks, I was considering those. Had hoped to put off doing brakes till the next stage but it seems everthing down there is now to be replaced :-)
