After 4 1/2 years of sitting in my garage under covers I decided to get my 5 Mot'd at the weekend. She passed with flying covers with an advisory of 1 rear brake line from the compensator to the flexi being rusty :smokin: :) . The guy who did the MOT was amazed at the overall condition tbh. When she was on the ramps he said "is it ok to leave it running or will it overheat as I no what these are like" cheeky fecker. I said "no problems leave it as long as you need". After 1/2 hour or so sitting running & bearing in mind it was over 30c in the garage he said was rather suprised it hadn't gone pop!!lol

Sorted out some insurance & going to get some tax this week. Just got to decide if I'm actually going to use her or sell now.....decisions decisions.

Cheers for the compliments :) The paint was redone in 1996 when the cool louvred bonnet was fitted. It was fading way back then & the owner (who I no) decided to get the whole car done, it was his second car anyway so always garaged & he obviously wasn't short of a bob or two. He sold it to a friend of mine (replaced it with a williams2 clio) in 98 who only did about 8K in 4 years & in that that time it lived in his garage. I bought it in 02, did 4K in 2 years, then tucked her away in my garage till now. It is faded from the original colour but not to bad & not a car park ding in site!lol :D I've always hankered after a williams clio, either a 1 or a 3, but it would have to be a very clean one to replace the 5.

does look really clean, its shame most of the williams (that i've seen) for sale recently are relatively dog like :scared:
