finally passed isle of man mot

finally got the renault 5 through its isle of man test much harder than a mot.

ive always thought red is the best coulor 4 a 5 its not to bad to keep shiney
mostly it just gets dusty so give it a quick shammy with the shammy and some water then the odd coulor magic it aint been waxed yet with proper polish so should come up a little better

Mmmm nice but using a shammy will induce more swirls than Torvill and Dean.

keep it out of the sun and weather is the only way to keep a colour fresh,a garage or a cover!

Did you get a chance to drive it on TT weekend when they left the mountain road open but one-way? I was over there in my mates Exige tearing up the tarmac :D

Am I right in thinking the IOM MOT is harder but you only have to pass it once, it's not a once a year job is it?

nar didnt get chance to take it over the mountain at tt week.
because it had ran out of english tax and couldnt book it in for its isle of man test till after tt.
only ever had 1 5 that i managed to get over the mountain in tt week :laugh:.
yes you only have the pass the isle of man test once its much harder than the english mot but you only have to test a car if it comes from the uk etc.
but there thinking of brniging in a yearly mot that will get a few sheds off the road :laugh:
