Or maybe that should be what problem do I have? Am now at the garage getting mot'd good stuff. Before I left I put a tenners worth of fuel in and on a journey of less than ten miles most of it has gone. White a lot of black shot over the rear of the car which as its not been given a run out for three years I kind of understand. Alex had a big arecove done by ktec a year last Feb. Pa it just cleaning its throat?

fuel gauges arnt the most reliable on 5s and you prob got some old fuel mixed in with it if it hasn't gone out in 3 years...???

Make sure the MOT guy does his job and checks for any fuel leaks before you drive any further though :smokin:

If there was no fuel in the auxillary tank when you filled it, a tenner would only just fill that. Stop being tight and fill it up. :D

Sorry guys, yeah I'm on my phone and was also doing in the sun so couldn't see how awful my first post was. Guess I was asking if the gauge was reliable and it seems not.
