My megane 225 sound really rough on tick over, 1st off it sound like its idoling to low and it coughs and splutters like its missin.
Any ideas?:)

IGN COIL PACKS, TDC SENSOR,AIR FLOW SENSOR,COOLANT TEMP SENSOR,BLOCKED EXHAUST,....

even a computer glitch can cause it...

not to much then?:) sick spendin money on this car i've spent a bloody fortune:mad:

always the same, check the basic's spark plugs, air pipes split, etc.....even check your air filter hasn't been wet....can split and block the air flow sensor...
oh, and Lambda sensor is common about 30,000 miles.

i would disconnect CTS first to see if its making any difference .

the injectors are notorious for this.

If its anything like the 182's they idle very badly... Lumpy as feck. I was worried when I got mine but talking to my mates ;) on cliosport they're all the same!

yeah? this is very lumpy, it doesn't seem to struggle tickin over it doesn't threaten to stall or anthing. jus sound rough:confused:
